My first experience of Yoga, was when aged 6 or 7, I found a Yoga book at home, with pictures in black & white of Asanas. I remember trying to replicate the various postures.
I joined my first yoga class, when I was 20 and I have practiced yoga ever since. I love how Yoga makes me stronger and I also feel more connected to my feelings and to the people around me. The benefits of Yoga are spiritual and physical. Yoga gives me inner calm and strength.
One of my yoga teachers, who trained in the style of Iyengar, also organised many yoga seminars and taught pre and post natal yoga. Yoga helped me and supported me during both pregnancies and the birth of my sons.
I am now a fully qualified and insured Yoga teacher.
I have got a keen interest in Holistic Therapies and studied Reflexology in 2001. I then went on to study Holistic Massage and Reiki
